Ringo Starr is by far one of the most influential Drummers in History. He was the Drummer for none other that The Beatles.
VIDEO: Ringo’s Influence in Drummers

The influence of Ringo Starr with the Beatles is the first place to look. No band in history has matched their impact, and Ringo was a pivotal part in their success and originality with his own special drum parts—sounds, patterns, or embellishments that are unique to that individual piece. He is known as the king of creative, feel-good pop timekeeping.

Ringo to me is a Rock n Roll Icon. I trully enjoy his work in Abbey Road and The White Album. He is one my main inspirations to this day, after all I still play with his Ludwig replica drum set.
I’m not the biggest fan of The Beatles, but I do acknowledge how great they are. Reading a blog about the drummer is always fun, because I used to be interested in the drums. That was long ago though. It’s really cool to see someone to be so inspired to play an instrument.
